Diabetic nerve pain affects thousands of Quebecers, though many people at risk may not even be aware the condition exists. Symptoms include numbness, tingling, and pain—most commonly in the legs, hands, and feet—but it can affect any part of the body. It’s important to manage this condition the best you can so you can continue to do the activities you enjoy.
Diabetes Quebec, Eli Lilly Canada and Boehringer Ingelheim (Canada) Ltd., along with the Chronic Pain Association of Quebec and the Quebec Pain Society held information sessions across Quebec to speak about this issue. These sessions helped patients and their families learn more about diabetes and nerve pain and provided the latest information and resources available.
